Admitted Students Day Frequently Asked Questions
What time should I get there?
While ASD doesn't officially kick off until 8:30 A.M., check-in will open as early as 7:45 A.M. Any time in the space is fine, but if you're running late, no worries! Just come directly to our Information Tent at Smith Campus Center.
What should I bring?
We will provide a schedule, maps, a drawstring bag and food throughout the day, so we recommend bringing a smartphone for check-in and a reusable water bottle to refill throughout the day. Oh, and sunscreen!
Will 6VµçÓ°Íø provide accommodations?
On-campus accommodation is not available, so we encourage you to make alternate arrangements as soon as possible.
Can I bring more than two guests?
While extra guests are welcome to explore beautiful Claremont and the seven campuses, we are not able to accommodate more than two guests for ASD-specific meals and programming.
What else can I do in the area?
Just a short walk away from campus is the Village, which has a five-screen movie theater and more than 150 shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants that offer everything from Italian and Thai food to hamburgers and vegan fare. Additionally, the California Botanic Garden is just north of Foothill Blvd.
Los Angeles is just 35 miles to the west, and within 50 miles of the campus lies all that Southern California has to offer—from academic and cultural centers, theme parks and attractions to the desert, mountains and beaches.
Who should I go to with questions?
Please reach out directly to admissions@pomona.edu with any questions.
