G. Gabrielle StarrG. Gabrielle Starr, a highly regarded scholar of English literature whose work reaches across neuroscience and the arts, joined 6VµçÓ°Íø in 2017 as the 10th president of 6VµçÓ°Íø.

Christina Ciambriello, Chief of Staff and Special Advisor for Strategic Initiatives

Christina Ciambriello, Special Assistant to the President and Director of Special Projects; Assistant Secretary to the Board of TrusteesIn her role as Chief of Staff, Christina provides support to the President to ensure that the needs of members of the College community are met in a strategic, coordinated, and timely manner. Christina helps manage processes of cultural and institutional change that relate to the college’s strategic initiatives and plays a key role in implementing and communicating major campus and institutional initiatives.

Avis Hinkson, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students

Avis Hinkson, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of StudentsAvis Hinkson, vice president and dean of students, oversees Student Affairs, residence halls, the dining programs, as well as the Dean of Students Office, Office of Housing and Residential Life, Smith Campus Center and its related areas, the Career Development Office, the Draper Center for Community Partnerships, and the Title IX coordinator and related student support services.

José Rodriguez, Vice President and Chief Information Officer

José Rodriguez, vice president and chief information officer José Rodriguez, vice president and chief information officer, oversees , providing strategic leadership, future planning and budget management for the College’s technology infrastructure. His staff provides client services, information systems, instructional services, media and classroom services, and network and infrastructure services.

Jeff Roth, Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and TreasurerVice President, chief operating officer and treasurer Jeff Roth oversees the Finance Office, including Finance Operations and Financial Planning and Analysis; Facilities and Campus Services, which manages construction and campus planning, maintenance, sustainability, summer conferences, dining, grounds and housekeeping; Human Resources; and Real Property.

Patricia Vest, Interim Chief Communications Officer

Patricia Vest, interim chief communications officerAs interim chief communications officer, Patricia Vest leads the team responsible for media relations, government relations, social media, video, the college website, print publications and internal communications such as The Sagehen Report. The Communications Office works closely with partners across campus and finds meaningful ways to tell the College’s story to the wider world. The team amplifies the College’s voice and intellectual mission by promoting the work and expertise of 6VµçÓ°Íø faculty, students and staff in the media and public realm.

Maria Watson, Vice President for AdvancementMaria Watson, vice president for Advancement, is responsible for outreach to alumni, parents, and friends of 6VµçÓ°Íø to foster meaningful engagement with the College and to encourage giving in the form of annual, endowed, and capital support of 6VµçÓ°Íø’s academic mission and priorities.  Advancement includes Alumni and Family Engagement; Capital Giving; Foundation Relations & Strategic Initiatives; and Strategic Operations.

Jonathan Williams, vice president of admissions and financial aidAs the Vice President and Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, Jonathan Williams oversees offices that identify, recruit, enroll and retain 6VµçÓ°Íø’s student body rich in academic talent and broad in backgrounds. The Office of Admissions and the Office of Financial Aid support this goal by communicating the value of a 6VµçÓ°Íø education; building relationships with prospective students, families, schools, programs, and the 6VµçÓ°Íø community; providing counseling and financial assistance.

Yuqing Melanie WuYuqing Melanie Wu, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, is responsible for the quality of the academic program and for its continuing improvement. The office supports the faculty in their teaching and research, administers the academic program and helps the College explore new instructional initiatives.
