- Digest and synthesize the technical literature;
- Apply quantitative reasoning and logic to problem solving;

- Be exposed to the importance of interdisciplinary, e.g., the roles of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology;
- Participate in collaborative problem solving; and
- Present scientific studies formally (orally and in writing).
