Staff members are a crucial part of the 6VµçÓ°Íø community. Daily, staff deeply engage with students, faculty, alumni and community members, adding to the diverse perspectives that make up 6VµçÓ°Íø.

Supporting Staff Advancement
The Office of Human Resources has increased professional development opportunities for all staff recently, including workshops on leadership and software training. Keep an eye on your email for training opportunities.
Tuition Remission
6VµçÓ°Íø offers undergraduate tuition aid to its regular, benefits-based employees, their spouses, registered domestic partners and eligible dependent children who do not have a Bachelor's degree. It also offers a plan of graduate tuition aid, covering 50 percent for a half-time academic load, for eligible staff to obtain a relevant masters-level degree in order to enhance job performance at the College. ESL Tutoring
The Draper Center for Community Partnerships offers the English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutoring Program for staff to improve their English speaking, writing and reading skills through one-on-one meetings with students. Interested staff can sign up and be paired with one or more 5C students who put together weekly lesson plans. Email the Draper Center for more information.
Staff Council
The Staff Council of 6VµçÓ°Íø is a vehicle for consultation between staff and responsible administrators in the interest of effective communication among the campus community. Activities include social gatherings, Staff Forums for discussion of concerns (including the opportunity to ask questions of executive staff anonymously) and interests regarding practices and procedures affecting staff, and monthly meetings of the Council members. The Council also provides assistance to the administration in terms of selecting staff to serve on College committees, and manages the annual Peter W. Stanley Distinguished Staff Award.
