Our campus Hamilton Health Box Clinic (HHB) launched at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to provide fast and reliable COVID-19 testing to help protect our community.
Located at 118 E. 8th Street, the clinic will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting Aug. 1, 2023. The clinic will be staffed with a team of physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and medical assistants to provide services such as:
- Treatment for sore throat, runny nose, cough, ear infection, upset stomach, sinus infection, simple skin rashes/infections, sprains, urinary tract infection and more
- COVID-19, strep and flu testing
- Management of COVID-19 and flu
- Prescriptions electronically transmitted to a pharmacy of your choice
- Spanish language medical translation services
- Additional preventive care services provided:
- Diabetes evaluation
- Hypertension monitoring
- High cholesterol screening
- Other disease screening and monitoring

There is no charge to 6VµçÓ°Íø employees for using the clinic.
What about my health insurance?
The goal of the HHB clinic is not to replace your primary care through your insurance, however, we understand that wait times may be longer than normal to see physicians and this should be a resource to receive care for non-urgent symptoms. Your health insurance will not be accessed for services received at the clinic. If there is a prescription needed, it will be transmitted to a pharmacy of your choice, and your insurance will be utilized towards the prescription costs.
What if I have an emergency?
In all cases, if you are experiencing an emergency of any kind, call 911. You should also follow up with your primary care physician.
Will my medical file be shared with 6VµçÓ°Íø staff?
Medical files held by HHB will be confidential and only accessible by HHB staff. 6VµçÓ°Íø HR will only be notified if you are placed off work for any length of time.
