Each semester, The Oldenborg Center for Modern Languages and International Relations invites noted scholars, writers, activists, and professionals to speak on topics of cultural and international interest during the lunch hour. Luncheon colloquia are open to students, faculty, staff and members of the community.
The Pacific Basin Institute is an interdisciplinary center devoted to the study of the Pacific Ring of Fire, which includes nations that touch the Pacific Ocean. Each semester, the Institute sponsors several lectures and other events on campus.
