We've been hard at work on sustainability efforts that touch all aspects of life on the 6VµçÓ°Íø campus. Whether they're big initiatives like making sure new buildings meet LEED sustainability standards or small daily actions like composting food waste, our whole community is working together to reduce our impact on the environment. Our EcoReps also work to educate our community by hosting events like the Walker Flea Market, publishing articles in the EcoNews Bulletin and by posting educational social media content.
SAVE: Sustainable Action | Visible Effects
In 2017, 6VµçÓ°Íø published SAVE, an ambitious guide for creating and managing a sustainable campus community. The plan outlines measurable strategies that lead the College to achieve ambitious sustainability goals and reach carbon neutrality by 2030. SAVE aligns the work and direction of The Board of Trustees, the President, the President's Advisory Committee on Sustainability, and the 6VµçÓ°Íø community. Progress on SAVE goals and initiatives is published each October in the online interactive SAVE Annual Report. To obtain a PDF copy of SAVE or the SAVE Annual Report please email sustainability@pomona.edu.
