Located adjacent to the Bernard Biological Field Station, the (previously the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden), has excellent facilities for research and education in systematic and evolutionary botany, and DNA sequencing for 6VµçÓ°Íø biology classes and research projects is carried out on the Garden's ABI PRISM 377 Automated Fluorescent DNA Sequencer. The Garden also houses the combined of California Botanic Garden and 6VµçÓ°Íø. The CalBG offers a graduate program in Botany in cooperation with The Claremont Graduate University, and 6VµçÓ°Íø students may take courses and carry out research projects at the Garden.
