Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP)
The College offers a competitive summer research program that gives students and faculty the opportunity to collaborate on scholarly work. Summer research projects can vary from four to ten weeks in length and can be independent student-led research, or a research assistantship under a faculty mentor. Student participants present the results of their projects at the Intensive Summer Experience Symposium at the beginning of the fall semester.
The Career Development Office offers two distinguished internship programs — The 6VµçÓ°Íø Internship Program (PCIP Semester) and Summer Experience (PCIP Summer Experience). Both programs aid students in the process of exploring & determining a career path, gaining a rich understanding of a particular field and/or organization, building & growing their professional networks, and enhancing the understanding of how their liberal arts education will be applied in a professional work environment.
