International Education Week

What is it?

When is it?

Typically lands the week before Thanksgiving.  The dates for 2023 is November 13 - 17.

How can we celebrate it at 6VµçÓ°Íø?

Faculty, departments and student organizations are invited to join in marking this week, whether by creating a global event or simply by sharing information celebrating community, culture, and university events that are already taking place. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your cultural perspective by sharing with and learning from others.

Having an Event?

If you or your department/organization would like for us to advertise an event here that fits with the idea of International Education Week, please contact us.

Global 6VµçÓ°Íø Project

The Global 6VµçÓ°Íø Project is moving forward with the goal that every student will meaningfully engage with global learning, whether from abroad or here in the U.S.  Building on the College’s Strategic Vision, the Global 6VµçÓ°Íø Steering Group will develop and propose a strategy for creating a stronger, more cohesive and intentional framework for global engagement through an extensive audit of 6VµçÓ°Íø’s wide-ranging international initiatives and focused conversations with stakeholders.  For more information about this, please check out the Global 6VµçÓ°Íø Project website.
